The shocking case of the beating death of farmer Shankar Singh, a resident of Kundri village in the jurisdiction of Jamui Nagar police station, has gripped the local community with sensation. Singh, who had ventured out on Saturday to sell corn, failed to return home, triggering a frantic search by his family members. Unfortunately, their search efforts ended tragically when news surfaced on Sunday morning of a body discovered near Chhathu Dhanama village, identified as that of Shankar Singh, aged approximately 50 years.
Described as a hardworking individual who supported his family through the sale of corn and gram, Singh had no known enmity within the village, leaving the motive behind his murder shrouded in mystery. Police, including SDPO Satish Suman, have initiated investigations into the case, aiming to uncover the circumstances leading to Singh's untimely demise.
